This week’s style guide was so much fun and all came about when a friend of a friend – who recently lost weight on the Rick Hay Anti-Ageing Food and Fitness Plan – needed a new wardrobe.

It turned out that the friend was actress Sarah Parish, who has just finished filming an eight-part series, The Collection, for Amazon Prime. This month also sees Sarah start filming the third and final series of Broadchurch as well as series six of Trollied.

Styling Sarah Parish was a dream job – confident, beautiful and enthusiastic, she really knew what flattered her body shape. Sarah needed a few easy, casual and effortlessly stylish outfits – something we know a thing or two about at Quattro Rish! We love simplicity; classic yet modern clothes, which are amazing quality but at the same time super easy to wear. We also like to add fun, on-trend pieces into our collections that add a dose of seasonal style to our customer’s wardrobes!

On the go 24/7 as a mum, actress and spokesperson for The Murray Parish Trust – a charity which she founded with her husband after they lost their first daughter Ella-Jayne to congenital heart failure – Sarah regularly attends social events both in her capacity as ambassador for The Murray Parish Trust and as an actress, which is why a capsule wardrobe was all-important.

Silk blouses are just a dream to wear. They keep you cool in the summer and cosy in the winter. Sarah feels comfortable in heels and wears them so naturally and at ease. The poncho was a fun purchase for Sarah, perfect for those long, lazy summer evenings, or to cover up when travelling. A Blogger’s Spring Must Haves…

[vc_row][vc_column width=”1/1″][text_output]Spring / Summer 2016 in Quattro Rish is shaping up to be be a strong season, with an emphasis on colour (brights win), a focus on outstanding fabrics (the softest cashmere and featherlight silks) and emerging new and super flattering denim shapes. Quattro Rish have Spring/ Summer covered, balanced with the fact that style also equals comfort and quality is paramount there is a piece in their collection (or two or three..) for everyone.

I had the pleasure of compiling my season must haves from Quattro Rish. There are so many looks to choose from I was spoilt for choice. My personal brief is always comfort, wearability, a flash of colour with a fashion twist. I need clothes to work hard for me, they need to pay they way in wearability and also need to work with my current wardrobe.

Spring 2016 fashion done 4 ways

With a team of four working together at QR it is really interesting to see how differently we buy and style, each of us choosing very different pieces from the collections.

Today’s post is about four women, each of whom have very different life styles. Ivy and her husband Roberto founded Quattro Rish nearly 9 years ago. With twins aged 5 Ivy is forever on the run, either merchandising, serving, styling customers, paying bills or the school run! She loves big jumpers, funky pants, trainers and has a bit of an addiction to the white shirt (MiH a favourite). Ivy’s style can be described as masculine with a feminine twist – imagine a casual wardrobe with silk shirts, jumpsuits with the occasional pair of feminine shoes.

“The cardigan is pure luxe, I love the combo of grey and cream, it never dates and always looks chic. I can wear it now under my coat and in the spring as a coat. The trainers are just a bit of fun as I never wear prints so I wanted to jazz up some of my simpler outfits. Sam has two grown daughters in their twenties and has reached that enviable stage in life where she can travel the world, dine out and enjoy life with husband. “I picked this outfit because I absolutely love the American Vintage Shirt. I normally go for blouses with a scoop neck as the collar does not suit my style, however this feels so silky and soft, and it drapes so perfectly, that it looks great on. How to Style your Winter Coat

Winter coats are the first thing we think about once the weather turns colder, and as the sartorial backbone of our seasonal wardrobe, it’s absolutely essential that we find and invest in the perfect one. Denim Styles to wear Now and Forever

There’s a huge trend for big, fluffy teddy-bear coats and faux-furs, this season. With real fur fast becoming a thing of the past, Unreal Fur have become industry leaders in creating stunning faux fur pieces of the highest quality without the cruelty towards animals – and we are loving the colour and textures that have arrived at Quattro Rish for our first season with Unreal Fur.

The Wanderlust coat is going to be our staple outer-garment over the winter months; warm, cheerful, supremely comfortable and as fashionable worn with jeans and a pair of battered Converse as they are slung over the top of an evening dress. The 3 white shirts you need in your wardrobe

Whether you wear yours oversized with rolled up sleeves or tied at the waist, white shirts have never been so versatile. The classic white shirt is a fashion staple and you can never have too many of them in your wardrobe, trust us: we own a few ! Spring Denim Styles

It’s no secret that the 70s trend is influencing almost every SS15 collection out there, from flares and pale washed denim to pastel lace-up ankle boots, this spring is going to be one big 70s time warp !

As with each season we buy with our customer in mind, we source a collection of denim that flatters each individual body shape but that screams cool and wearable with a nod to the current season’s trends.

New to Quattro Rish this season is the Tomboy jean from MiH, if you live in your Phoebe jeans then you will L O V E the Tomboy – with a hint at the loose ease of a boyfriend but with a slimmer fit, the Tomboy is the perfect go-to casual jean this season. We welcome the return of denim classics such as the Stiletto in a pale wash with orange stitching; or the Paris from MiH in both blue and white. Why not channel 2015’s answer to the loose leg boyfriend and try the flare ! We are very excited about the imminent arrival of the Skinny Marrakesh jean from MiH, this jean fits like a skinny at the top before flaring into a statement kick – these jeans will be as adorable with flat shoes as they are with heels.
